GILT COMPLEX is the brand new single, and the first to be lifted from third album THIS GIFT. Gilt Complex is released on 29 October 2007 on 7" vinyl and digital download through Domino Records.
It's compelling arrangement is the product of the bands own characteristic intensity and the combative approach of the albums famously uncompromising producer Bernard Butler. It is an ambitious return to the fray, full of pounding rhythm and riveting virtuoso guitar, hand claps and harmony, grasping chorus' and gripping vocals, the work of a band eclipsing its own distinct and critically acclaimed reputation. The album races from the rasping Gilt Complex to the Edwyn Collins strut of THE NEST, hits driving garage rock on REBEL WITH THE GHOST via 60s girl-group stomps DARLING and FLAGS, and all along hints at the bands ability to conjure up atmospheres of disturbing unease, most notably on IODINE and the desert rock meets Gaelic war cry of the title track.
A whirlwind of tarnished sixties glamour,

are a three piece band from Cardiff, UK. There is no apostrophe in the name of the band, although they are aware that there should be. In their relatively brief time on this earth, they've released a full length debut album, toured around UK and Europe, played at SXSW, and plan to release more stuff, soon. They are all pleased to meet you.

Nervosa are a six piece progressive folk rock band from St Austell, Cornwall, who have developed their sound over the last year, by writing two albums worth of material together.
The West Briton found it hard to pigeonhole Nervosa's sound, with comparisons ranging from “Pink Floyd, Radiohead, and REM, to Massive Attack and The Smashing Pumpkins” recognising the different influences “peeking through in their cohesive ideas.”
Performing minus their drummer in a short 20 minute warm up set at The Cookworthy Acoustic Night in St Austell, the St Austell Voice described their performance as "an assured set of hypnotically rich and textural songs, reminiscent of Radiohead and Arcade Fire".
Nervosa’s debut electric set at The Oxjam Big Top Weekend was described by The Cornish Live Gig Review as a “skillful and captivating performance” combining “great musicianship with considered songwriting” leaving an “enthusiastic crowd truly entertained”.
November is going to be a great month for Nervosa, seeing them supporting Sons & Daughters, The Victorian English Gentleman's Club, and Jim Bob of Carter USM. See below for full information.
Nervosa hope to start recording their debut album shortly, subscribe to their blog to keep updated with information.
